news in 2011

** AUGUST 2011 **

A very warm welcome to all my friends, readers, writers, lurkers... I have three little bits of news to tell you guys this month so I'll get straight on with it:

1. The film rights to The Make-Up Girl have been sold. So, Faith Wishart may be coming to a screen near you soon.


2 . Work on my new novel has begun. I think I'll really get it cracked in September. This is also the month Lucas starts school. Coincidence? I don't think so!

3. My husband Matt Haig's novel The Radleys is out now in paperback, and is a TV Book Club Summer Read. The show he is on will be 7th August at 7.30pm on More 4, and 8th August at 12.30pm on Channel 4. The series starts at the end of June. Vogue calls the book 'great fun' and the Daily Mail say it's 'addictive'. If you want to get hold of a copy on Amazon click here.
