Unlike
catch-all guides such as the Rough Guide and Time Out, Style City guides
are aimed at one specific type of traveller, namely the style-hunter.
They therefore are essential for anyone wanting to seek out the most stylish
attractions, bars, restaurants, shops and hotels.
I own the Paris and London guides and, much to my bank manager's dismay,
have followed their advice on a number of occasions. The places they recommend
may not be cheap, but if you want to abandon good financial sense for
a long weekend of VIP indulgence they can't be beaten.
New York and Barcelona guides are now also available.
